PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT

WSTA is committed to promoting professional knowledge and growth for Washington educators. We are presently offering frequent regional professional development events, a yearly conference, and have two high quality "WSTA PD on Demand" sessions that we can bring to your district. Our organization can provide clock hours (including STEM clock hours) for your professional development with prior approval. We also coordinate with Educational Service Districts, OSPI, Washington STEM, informal science organizations, and NSTA to connect teachers with high quality opportunities in our state.

PBLworks and Educurious  have tools to help you get started! Join Ayla Wilk for a quick introduction to the “Gold Standard” project design elements and teaching practices, followed by an opportunity to explore the teacher supports and project ideas on their respective websites.
