Calling all 4th–12th Grade Science, CTE, Math, and Social Studies Teachers, and Afterschool Leaders!

Join the National Energy Education Development (NEED) Project and Phillips 66 for a free, full-day professional development workshop focused on energy science and careers. Participants will engage in hands-on learning with NEED’s Science of Energy Kit, explore curriculum aligned to state standards, and gain insights into energy exploration, refining, careers, and climate science.

All participants will receive:

  • A FREE Science of Energy Kit
  • Breakfast and lunch
  • Substitute reimbursement
  • Free STEM clock hours from WSTA
  • Access to ready-to-use curriculum and digital resources

    Workshop Highlights Include:

    • The Science of Energy (Hands-on Lab)
    • Oil & Natural Gas Activities: Refining Maze, Pipeline Push, Pretzel Power
